Add Friends Via Email or Epic Games IGN on PC / Mobile
You will be able to add friends by using either their Epic Games username or their email address. Simply open the Friend tab on your Fortnite Menu or Epic Games Launcher, then use the Add Friend option.

Add PS4 / Xbox Friends
To add Playstation users, you will need their email or Epic Games IGN. PSN Friends with Fortnite will be added to your suggested friends so you can add them there!
Add Friends via Xbox
On Xbox, you can add friends via their email or Epic Games IGN. You can find Xbox friends with Fortnite in your recommended friends!
Link your accounts to make it easier for people to find you. Your friends with the same accounts will also appear and you'll have the option to add them.
You can access this via Manage Account from the Account drop-down menu option in the Epic Games launcher.
Linking your Facebook Account
Facebook is another way to add friends to your list.
- 1. Click on the Friend List button, to open the friend list window.
- 2. Click on the Add Friend button.
- 3. The option to add friend as well as to connect your Facebook account will open in a new window.
